Description
The Sciotoville Community Schools’ Governing Board is seeking to employ a High School Social Studies teacher (grades 9-12) for the 2022-2023 school year.
Workday: 7:15 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
Rate of Pay: Based upon years of experience
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must hold appropriate valid Ohio teaching certificate/license
Candidate must have knowledge of academic content standards
Candidate must establish and maintain cooperative relationships with parents and colleagues
Candidate must be an ongoing learner
Candidate must be caring and have an understanding of children in this age group
Candidate must strive to help build positive self-esteem in students
Candidate must discipline children in a firm, fair, and respectful manner
Candidate must have successful teaching experience or student teaching
Candidate must display and maintain a high standard of teaching ability
Candidate must be dedicated to the improvement of the Sciotoville Community School District and its students
